Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source for EMS Chemical Inventory Software Annual Maintenance and Support (renewal) In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, the Department of Energy (DOE), National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) intends to award a single-source purchase order to SFS Chemical Safety to purchase the annual maintenance and support for the EMS Chemical Safety software which provides the annual software licensing, and the maintenance and support for the continued use of established software which is providing continued support of chemical and waste tracking at NETL.� This is considered a single source award under FAR 13.106-1(b) to SFS Chemical Safety because, to the best of the NETL�s knowledge, based on market research conducted SFS Chemical Safety is the only known source for this software.� This renewal must be obtained from the original software vendor; there are no known other vendors or authorized resellers of this software which can satisfy the requirement.�� This notice of intent is not a request for quote.� This is not a solicitation.� Any interested party that believes it can meet the NETL requirement described herein may identify themselves and must provide evidence of their capability to fulfill the requirement being requested by 4:00pm ET on July 30, 2020.� Responses must be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist, Amy Stonebraker, via email at amy.stonebraker@netl.doe.gov no later than the time and date noted above. Telephone responses and requests will not be received. � A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Any information received will be treated as market research information for future of same or similar requirements.��
