Solicitation Number: W50S84-20-B-0002 Restrictions: Total Small Business Title: Alter Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC) Location: Battle Creek ANGB, Michigan, 49037 Issue Date: Tentatively 30 July 2020 Pre Proposal Conference and Site Visit: Tentatively 5 August 2020 10:00 am Local Time Closing Date: Tentatively 29 August 2020 2pm Local Time Award Date: Tentatively 15 September 2020 Local Time PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall alter the space of the BDOC by expanding into adjacent office space.� Contractor will alter walls, doors, ceilings, and install new flooring as indicated.� Install a unisex bathroom and break area counter with sink.� Alter the wet pipe sprinkler system to new floor plan. Alter plumbing system by installing water, waste, and vent lines for new unisex bathroom and sink.� Alter mechanical systems by:� removing existing duct work and installing new ducts to provide supply and return air to new space, alter supply piping, install new heat pump, exhaust fan, air cooled condensing unit, and electric wall heater.� Electrical system will be altered to include power and lighting.� Alter technology systems to include:� Communications outlets and wiring, Advantor security system. A Statement of Work (SOW), Drawings and Specs will be provided in a solicitation package at a later date. This document is intended to find interested contractors who may/would participate in the competition for this project. The projects magnitude is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. This requirement will be 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. Offers from other than Small Business concerns will not be considered. For Small Business information please see http://www.sba.gov/. The following NAICS code 236220 will apply with the Small Business Size Standard of $39.5 Million. This project will be awarded as a firm-fixed price contract. The successful contractor will be chosen via Invitation for Bid procedures that result in the best value to the Government. All information required for submission of an offer will be identified in the solicitation. Solicitation, W50S84-20-B-0002, information will be advertised electronically on or about 29 July 2020 at https://beta.sam.gov� (Formerly known as Federal Business Opportunities, FedBizOps, or www.FBO.gov) with an anticipated award date of 15 September 2020. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Award will be made to the responsible bidder whose bid conforms to the invitation for bids and is most advantageous to the Government considering only price and price related factors. This synopsis of proposed contract action is for planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to pay for any information, issue a solicitation, or award a contract. The synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the Government for reimbursement. Paper copies will not be available.
