- Title:� Coastal Storm Risk Management Surf City & North Topsail Beach, Topsail Island, N.C., New Hanover and Brunswick Counties, North Carolina Solicitation #: W912PM20B0010 The work consists of furnishing plant, labor, materials, and equipment to perform dredging, transporting, placing and shaping beach fill and performing all pre and post construction beach surveys.� Approximately 5 borrow areas are available for the project and located offshore of Topsail Island Beaches from just west of Surf City to the east end limits of North Topsail Beach. The Surf City and North Topsail Beach Coastal Storm Risk Management Project consists of placing 2,146,900 CY of Dune and Berm beach fill along 10,870 LF of Surf City Beach.� All beach work will not begin until 1 December 2020 and must be completed by 31 March 2021. The project also consists of extending approximately 5 existing walkover structures in Surf City and the stabilization of approximately 20 acres of new dune. This solicitation is unrestricted. The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000.00. �This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about September 30, 2020.� The bid opening date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, facsimiles, etc) will be provided.�� Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available.
