Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, (Government) desires to acquire Louisiana Department of Natural Resources (LDNR) approved Brackish Marsh (BM) mitigation bank credit purchase of �9.21 Average Annual Habitat Units (AAHU).� A mitigation bank must be physically located within the Deltaic Plain which is coextensive with Hydrologic Unit Code (HUC) 08070203, 08070204, 8070205, 08080101, 08080102, 08080103, 08090100, 08090201, 08090202, 08090203, 08090301, and 08090302.� The purchase of these credits will fully satisfy the Government�s requirement to mitigate 9.21 AAHU of brackish marsh impacts incurred during work associated with construction of the Terrebonne Nonfederal Levee (Supplemental Environmental Assessment #555, May 2019).
