- This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract with 3-1 year Options for The ECS Pack Heat Exchanger- NSN- 6685-01-577-0443, Part Number 17G410242-1. The Basic is for Qty of 1 each. First Article (1 EA), Test Plan (1 EA), and Test Report (1 EA). The 3-1 year Options are based on Qty range 1-2 each. The item is a single bypass type heat exchanger. One circuit flows compressed air from the ACM and following cooling through the heat exchanger flows it to the ACM turbine for expansion and further cooling. The opposite side is the cooling circuit provided by ram air. This item also supply air for fault isolation of the bleed air ducts. DESCRIPTION SIZE: 19� L X 19� W X 16� H (CASE) WEIGHT: 45 LBS MATERIAL: CASE: MOLDED POLYETHYLENE RESIN WITH FOAM CUTOUTS. COLOR: CASE: IMPREGNATED GREEN OPERATING TEMPERATURE: -40� F TO +125� F B. MIL-HDBK-300 WAS UTILIZED IN THE SELECTION OF THE SE DOCUMENTED This requirement will be a set-aside for Small Business. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit, and detailed instructions contained in the RFQ. All responsible Small Business sources may submit a proposal to be considered by the contracting agency. The Government will utilize the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), Excluded Parties List System (EPLS), and other Government databases to determine contractor status before evaluating proposals. Proposal will be evaluated based on criteria stated in the RFQ. We anticipate release of the RFQ on or around 24�July 2020 with an estimated response date of 22�August 2020.
