Description

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (""CFTC"") intends to negotiate and award a sole-source contract for the procurement of various commodity and financial data feeds from S&P Global Platts.� The Government intends to procure this requirement under FAR 6.302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The information contained in the S&P Global Platts subscriptions are proprietary to S&P and CFTC knows of no alternative source that can provide the information offered in the subscriptions below.� The list of the subscriptions that CFTC intends to procure from S&P is as follows: Gas Daily Package - Basic (Web) Market Data - Petroleum Package (Bloomberg: Terminal) Market Data Dynamic Package (Bloomberg: Terminal) Market Data - Natural Gas - GD - Package - North America - Daily (Bloomberg: Terminal) Market Data - Natural Gas - GM - Package - North America - Monthly (Bloomberg: Terminal) Megawatt Daily add-on - Archives (Web) Megawatt Daily Package - Basic (Web) Metals Alert (Bloomberg: Terminal) Market Data Metals add-on to PMA (Bloomberg: Terminal) Metals Daily Package (Web) Inside FERC Bidweek Watch add-on Package (Web) Inside FERC's Gas Market Report add-on - Archives (Web) Inside FERC's Gas Market Report Package - Basic (Web) LEGACY - Oilgram Price Report Package - Basic (Web) Market Data - Petroleum Package (Bloomberg: Terminal) Market Data Dynamic Package (Bloomberg: Terminal) Market Data - Natural Gas - GD - Package - North America - Daily (Bloomberg: Terminal) Market Data - Natural Gas - GM - Package - North America - Monthly (Bloomberg: Terminal) Metals Daily Package (Web) Market Data Metals add-on to PMA (Bloomberg: Terminal) Metals Alert (Bloomberg: Terminal) Gas Daily Package - Basic (Web) Without access to this data, CFTC�s regulatory operations would be significantly impeded and there would be an increased risk to achieving CFTC�s mission. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS nor a solicitation of offers. However, the Government will consider written responses from all responsible sources received by 5:00pm ET, June 12, 2020. Written responses must include sufficient information to establish capability to fulfill the requirement. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes for future Market Research requirements. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government anticipates award on or about June 30, 2020. The Government will not be responsible for any costs of preparation in response to this announcement.
