Description

The General Services Administration (GSA) Southeast Sunbelt Region 4 announces the opportunity for a Request for Proposal to provide design and construction services for the Sam Nunn Federal Building, Atlanta, GA. The work involves the design, repair, replacement, and improvement of roof membranes over the 24-story tower building of the Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center. This procurement will be set-aside for Total Small Business Women Owned. The estimated project magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. �The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is, 236220 -- Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a Small Business Administration size standard of $ 36.5 Million. The Period of Performance for this project is 240 calendar days. This project is to be awarded as a firm fixed price contract.� The procurement method will be a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP).� Award will be made to a firm offering the best value to the Government utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection procedures.� The soliciation issued date�July 8, 2020.� �Due to COVID-19 �(Mask is Required) Attendance should be limited to 2 people per contractor please register in advance to participate. A site -visit will be schedule for Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., at the Sam Nunn Federal Building.� Due to social distance we may have to group contractors into 2 or 3 small groups if needed. (Please meet in the lobby Mask is required) and the Request for Proposal offer due date will be August 10, 2020.� The solicitation and all other information, amendments and questions concerning the forthcoming solicitation will be electronically posted at the following web page: http://www.beta.sam. No telephone requests for docs will be accepted. This solicitation is not a sealed bid and there will not be a formal public bid opening. All questions/inquiries or requests for clarification must be in writing, preferable via email to the persons specified in the solicitation. All answers will be provided in writing and will be available on the aforementioned beta.sam.posting. Interested firms must be registered and have completed their online representations and certifications in the System for Award Management (SAM).
