Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers � Tulsa District has been tasked to solicit for and award a contract for the Cherokee Chute Embankment Repair.� The proposed project will be a competitive, firm-fixed price,� in accordance with FAR 14, Sealed Bidding using price only factors. The Government is seeking qualified, experienced sources capable of performing the following: The scope of work includes work to place 18� quarry run stone to form rock dike at Sections B, D, and E, place Traffic Bound Surface Course (TBSC) pavement section at sections A, B, C, and D, and to re-grade drainage ditch to grade from outlet pipe. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of construction for this project is: Between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000 Estimated duration of the project is 200 calendar days. The North American Industry Classification System code for this procurement is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The size standard is $39.5M. Small Businesses are reminded under FAR 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting, that they must perform at least 15% of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with their own employees for general construction-type procurement. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside Anticipated solicitation issuance date is on or about 24 July 2020 , and the estimated proposal due date will be on or about 24 August 2020 2020.
