- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT FOR REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The National Park Service, Midwest Region, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to solicit proposals for the carpet replacement and painting project for William Howard Taft National Historic Site in Cincinnati, OH. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary to... A). Clean, prepare, repair and paint approximately 10395.92 square feet of ceiling, walls, doors, door trim, as well as sides and top of recessed windows of the Taft Education Center. and B). Removal and installation of approximately 3868.96 square feet of carpet on the first and second floors of the Taft Education Center. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6420R0026. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by mid-August with performance to begin after contract award. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Hamilton County, OH will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance, and Price. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238320, and the size standard is $16.5 million. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday, July 15th at 9:00 ET. The location for the site visit is the William Howard Taft National Historic Site at 2038 Auburn Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45219.
