Description
Amendment 0001: The solicitation is being amended for the following changes: 1.) Project Magnitude: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 is changed to read $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. 2.)� Section L: 3. Paragraph a. Quality and Satisfaction Rating for Contracts Completed in the Past Three Years is changed to read Past Five Years. See attached Amendment. The scope of this project consists of the mill and overlay of 15 parking spots at Joint Base Charleston Aircraft Parking Ramp. The project also includes new pavement striping, joint, reseal, and Portland cement concrete repairs and incidental related work. (Airfield Paving) Site Visit Information: a. A pre-proposal conference and site visit is scheduled for 7 Jul 20 at 9:00 AM EST. All attendees shall meet NLT 8:45 AM EST at the Air Base Visitor Control Center, Joint Base Charleston, SC 29445 (W Hill Blvd, Joint Base Charleston, SC).�Offerors are encouraged to attend and are requested to contact Robert Crossland, Program Manager, robert.crossland@us.af. mil or (843) 963-1451 NLT 30 Jun 20 if you plan to attend. Please CC brian.hawk@us.af.mil. Special arrangements will be required to gain access to Joint Base Charleston, SC. Government transportation will be provided to transport attendees to the project site. Attendees will not have to obtain a visitor's pass to access the Visitor Control Center parking lot. However, ensure attendees have a valid driver's license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance available. Some delays should be anticipated. Offerors should allow sufficient time to arrive on time at the Visitor Control Center parking lot. b.�� �The purpose of this conference is to visit the construction site, clarify the statement of work and terms of the solicitation, and to answer any questions concerning the solicitation. Offerors are requested to prepare all questions in writing prior to the scheduled date of the conference. Submission of questions prior to the conference is encouraged. The deadline for all questions pertaining to this solicitation will be 10 Jul 20 at 12:00 PM EST. c.�� �Remarks and explanations provided at the conference shall NOT qualify the terms of the solicitation and statement of work. Unless the solicitation is amended in writing, it will remain unchanged. Should an amendment be issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of solicitation amendments shall apply.
