Description

The Mission Installation Contracting Command Center � Fort Bragg (MICC Center-FB) intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract to Duke Progress Energy for the acquisition of the conversion of the Duke Progress Energy owned Overhead powerlines to an Underground single circuit providing regulated electrical service along Special Forces Way to Camp Mackall, a sub-installation of Fort Bragg, North Carolina.� This requirement is for a 12 month period beginning on or about 24 July 2020. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS:� Award of this requirement will be in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1(b)(ii)(3).� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 237130.� This acquisition is entirely on an unrestricted basis. This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposals; however, any firm that believes they have the capability to provide the conversion of the Duke Progress Energy owned Overhead powerlines to an Underground single circuit providing regulated electrical service along Special Forces Way to Camp Mackall, a sub-installation of Fort Bragg, North Carolina may give written notification to the Contracting Officer.� Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to verify the capability to provide the requirements listed.� Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government.� If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Duke Progress Energy.
