Description

The First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) Chief Procurement Office intends to negotiate with Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc., located in Columbia, MD, on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source, for providing a maintenance for the Audio Analyzer which the First Net Authority currently owns. The unique technical specifications for the service are the provision of manufacturer maintenance and calibration for the existing equipment. The NAICS Code is 334220 Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing, with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,250 employees. FirstNet anticipates negotiating and awarding a firm-fixed-price contract to Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc. for this requirement. Interested parties who can demonstrate they could satisfy the requirements listed above for FirstNet must clearly and unambiguously identify their capability to do so in writing on or before the response date for this notice. Please limit responses to five (5) pages or less. Responses should include the following information: 1. Name of company that will provide product. 2. Name of company that will manufacture the product. 3. Spec sheets and examples of products that meet the specifications. 4. Typical lead time to deliver the product after receipt of order. 5. Any other relevant information that is not listed above which the Government should consider in developing our minimum specifications and finalizing our market research. This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition. If competitive procedures are not used it is estimated that an award will be issued by 9/15/2020. Any questions regarding this notice must be submitted in writing via email to chendra.conklin@firstnet.gov. All responses to this notice of intent must be submitted so that they are received at chendra.conklin@firstnet.gov no later than 10:00 am Mountain on 7/15/2020. �
