Description

DATE REQUIRED 16JUL2020 � PLACE OF PEFORMANCE ALAMEDA, CA � The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, National Security Cutters Branch 2, Oakland, CA anticipates awarding this procurement to FCX Systems, Inc for the parts listed below: Part/Services List: NSC PFC028 Upgrade Kit: Kit containing all materials and components necessary to upgrade existing NSC PFC028-V-40-FM-2 / AMA7070 from a 35KVA rated dual output configuration, to a 45KVA rated single output configuration. Also includes reconfiguration of the E/F interlock to the ""Split F"" configuration. SHIPPING & HANDLING: Shipping & handling from FCX factory to Alameda, CA 94501. FIELD SERVICE: Time onsite in Alameda, CA by FCX Systems Factory Service Technician to perform modification/upgrade to PFC028 unit, inclusive of post-mod field test with resistive (unity power factor) load bank. O & M MANUALS ON CD: Operation & Maintenance Manual, updated and revised as needed to reflect updated configuration. 400 HZ OUTPUT CABLE 150': MIL-DTL-32180 Compliant 400Hz Single Jacketed Output Power Cable, with two conductors (#5WAG) per phase, and replaceable nose section. This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCGC MUNRO (WMSL), Alameda, CA. �Vendor will provide the part/supply stated in the solicitation description. �NAICS Code # 336611 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 Pacific Time, Jul 17th, 2020 will be reviewed by the Government. ��A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. �Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All questions concerning this notice must be submitted in writing the Contracting Officer, email address is: barbara.falero@uscg.mil. The solicitation is restricted to: FCX Systems, Inc. Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. If no affirmative responses are received by the date specified above to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, a purchase order will be negotiated and awarded to FCX Systems, Inc.
