Description

Amendment 2: This notice is hereby amended to include the revisions to Attachment I (revised page limit) and Attachment III (revised response to Question #3). Amendment 1: This notice is hereby amended to include responses to questions submitted in response to this RFI notice. (See Attachments III, IV, & V) The U.S. Census Bureau in support of the Quality and Enterprise Development Support (QEDS) within Application Development Services Division (ADSD), is seeking information on how an interested contractor could provide Enterprise Tools support services for the Tools Support Center of Excellence (TSCoE) and Configuration Management support services for the Configuration and Release Management Center of Excellence (CMCoE). Each Center of Excellence (CoE) � Tools and Configuration and Release Management CoEs migrate from the traditional �silo� organizational model that has no strategic source pools (resource sharing) to a centralized model. THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) IS ISSUED IAW FAR PART 10 SOLELY FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES. In accordance with FAR 52.215-3, this notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes; it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue any type or kind of solicitation in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Census Bureau is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondees are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party�s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. (Please refer to Attachments I & II for further details regarding this RFI.)
