- The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Caribbean Florida Water Science Center has a requirement for the interpretation of 2D and 3D seismic data using Kingdom and OpendTect seismic software. The seismic data will be delivered to the vendor as SEGY files on USB drives as they become available. The Government anticipates that this requirement will result in a single-award indefinite delivery contract. The period of performance will be one year from the date of award with four one-year option periods thereafter. Award of the contract will be from the USGS Reston Acquisition Branch. The purpose of this announcement is to provide a DRAFT copy of the statement of work (SOW) and invite industry to review and provide feedback on the requirement. Since the total amount of data interpretation required is not known, and numerous variables impact the cost, the USGS is primarily looking for comments from industry on how best to establish unit pricing in the contract, though comments regarding any area of the requirement are welcome. Vendors shall submit questions/feedback via email to Daniel Galvin at dgalvin@usgs.gov no later than 07/22/2020. The solicitation, if issued, and any documents related to this procurement will be made available through the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE), https://beta.sam.gov. It is the offeror�s responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541360 Geophysical Surveying and Mapping Services. The size standard is $16.5 million. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on responses received under this announcement.
