- Page 1 of 1 The Lebanon VA Medical Center (LVAMC), Contracting Department intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation for Motorola Radios. The contractor shall provide Medical Center Therefore, Lebanon VA Medical Center has an urgent need for brand-name requirement for a Motorola portable radios. The Lebanon VAMC requires reliable radios that will interface seamlessly with the facility s existing wireless radio communication backbone. The existing communication system in place at the facility is a Motorola system and no other brand of radios available on the market are compatible with the system. The Motorola APX 8000 and APX 6000 are compatible with the system and have them minimum features needed by the medical center to meet their communication needs during the Pandemic. NAICS code is 334220 Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communication equipment manufacturing. The size standard is 500 employees. The FSC is 5820 Radio and Television communication, equipment except airborne. Upon its release, the solicitation will be issued electronically and be available for downloading at http://www.beta.sam.gov on or about July 7, 2020. The solicitation will be a Request for Quote and will be issued as a SDVOSB (service-disabled veteran owned small business) Set-Aside. The closing date for the receipt of offers will be set forth in the RFQ. Paper copies, faxed copies, or e-mail copies of the solicitation will not be provided. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the above website for posting of the RFQ and any amendments hereto. The Government will not pay for the information received. By submitting an offer, the offeror is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirements that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management, (SAM), database prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
