Description

The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392, intends to award, on a sole source basis, a contract to Data Security, Inc. for multiple Data Security Media Cracker�s and associated carts. The Navy requires approximately 3 Media Crackers/carts. Delivery will be within 14 days of award. This action will be conducted using the commercial item procedures of FAR Part 12 and simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13. The statutory authority for this sole source purchase is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is sole source only. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. As a result, this requirement will not be set aside for small business concerns. The activity�s small business office concurs with this determination. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 333999. The size standard is 500 employees. The Product Service Code is 7490. The anticipated award date is no later than 9 July 2020. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, by 3:00 p.m. Eastern time by 06 July 2020, which will be considered by the agency.
