Description
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Schmid & Partner Engineering AG (SPEAG) for annual calibration support and service for the DASY Support�System.�This support will include calibration services of the equipment listed above, software updates and repair services, and a�one-time return shipment of calibrated items The period of performance for this effort is one year from date of award. Please see the attached�Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition and Equipment List for more information. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. The authority for negotiating a sole source basis is made under 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) and FAR 13.106-1(b) which permits soliciting from a single source, if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available. Any challenges to this sole source requirement must be received by the closing date and time, in writing, and sent to� Nereyda.Dunn@fcc.gov in order to be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether or not to compete the requirement. The FCC has already identified that there are no other capable sources, and the FCC will issue a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order to: Schmid & Partner Engineering AG Zeuhausstrasse 43, 8004 Zurich Switzerland Any challenges must include information sufficient to enable the Government's needs as stated herein. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
