Description
1. This Sources Sought/Market Survey Notice is being conducted by the Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 at 2002 Holcombe Blvd. Houston, Texas 77030 to identify sources that are capable of providing Siemens Healthcare Diagnostic Kits Brand Name Only for the New Orleans Veterans Affairs Medical Center (NOVAMC), 2400 Canal Street LA 70119. 2. Specification requirements. Background: The NOVAMC Pathology Laboratory is requesting the purchase of Siemens Healthcare Diagnostic Kits for the NOVAMC Molecular Pathology Laboratory. The laboratory currently operates the Siemens Auto LiPA 48 instrumentation and requires specific supplies for test accuracy and consistency. Warranty and Support: The warranty and support must cover all components of the requirement in accordance with standard manufacturer s commercial warranty Delivery Location: New Orleans Veterans Affairs Medical Center Molecular Pathology Lab 2400 Canal St New Orleans, LA 70119 4. If this is a supply your business can provide, please respond to this Sources Sought Notice by 3:00 PM Central Time on Tuesday, 7 July 2020. 5. The intent of this notice is to establish sources to define the procurement strategy (e.g set-aside, sole source, unrestricted) for a solicitation that VA intends to post soon. Interested contractors are requested to respond in accordance with the following: 5.1 Please respond to this notice if you can provide the exact brand name products listed in the table in the background section above. In the response please cite your business size status. If you have an existing GSA or VA, Federal Supply Schedule contract, please include the contract details in your response. b. Distributors: You must provide proof that you are an authorized distributor. VA does not accept gray market items. 5.2 Equivalent products may not be accepted. Offerors that propose Equivalent products may not be considered during the acquisition process. 6. Please note that VA is particularly interested in determining the availability of Small Business Manufacturers. If your company is a small business manufacturer or distributor, please respond to this notice. 7. Vendors are requested to submit estimated market research pricing with their responses. The estimated pricing will be considered when determining the procurement strategy for the future solicitation. (e.g. if CO determines that capable small businesses cannot provide fair and reasonable pricing, then the solicitation will not be set-aside). 8.
