- UPDATE (07/01/2020)� RELEASE OF FINAL REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL� This is a modification to the synopsis entitled X-59 Community Response Testing, solicitation 80LARC20R0004, which was posted on June 12, 2020.� You are hereby notified of the release of the Final Request for Proposal for the X-59 Community Response Testing (see the posted attachments). Potential offerors shall refer to Provision L.12 for the due date for responses. Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of any amendments.�� Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). (06/12/2020) PRESOLICITATION SYNOPSIS� NASA Langley Research Center plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for �Community Response Testing with the X-59 Quiet SuperSonic Technology Aircraft�.� This requirement is for planning and execution of large-scale surveys of community response to low sonic boom. The scope of the expected work includes community survey methods, noise exposure planning and estimation, and acoustical and meteorological data collection and analysis across a large geographical area. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.��� The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 541715 and 1,000 employees, respectively. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about June 22, 2020, with an anticipated offer due date of on or about July 22, 2020. The firm date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the RFP. A pre-proposal conference is anticipated on or about July 2, 2020.� The pre-proposal conference details and additional information will be provided in the RFP.� NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.� The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at https://www.hq.nasa.gov/office/procurement/regs/Procurement-Ombuds-Comp-Advocate-Listing.pdf. If a solicitation is released, then it and any additional documents will be available on www.beta.sam.gov.
