CRANE CONDITION MONITORING 1.0������ Classification Code� L � Technical Representative, Miscellaneous 2.0������ NAICS Code �� 541330 3.0������ Contracting Office Address Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) 1250 10th Street, Suite 4600 Washington Navy Yard, DC 20374 4.0������ Synopsis This SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (SSN) is issued to assist SSP in performing market research to determine industry interest and capability.� No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis.� THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. 5.0������ Purpose In accordance with FAR Part 10, SSP is conducting market research to identify businesses capable of managing and performing crane condition�monitoring.� SSP is seeking capability statements which identify vendor capabilities to perform/execute the requirements identified in Section 6.� Potential sources must have demonstrated functional and technical expertise to execute the requirements with personnel who have first-hand experience in the performance of crane monitoring and associated system operation.� 6.0������ Description of Requirements� SSP requires contractor support and employ its facilities, personnel at the level of effort set forth in below, services of others, and materials, to perform the following: provide support to SSP and the Field Activities in the form of an analysis, reports, and investigations related to the facility cranes provide continued Crane Condition Monitoring (CCM) system operation and maintenance for each facility crane with a CCM system provide a complete risk assessment (design and operational condition) of facility cranes fitted including utilization of Acoustic Emissions (AE) data on file evaluate issues arising from risk assessments and propose mitigation activity collect and analyze data from CCM systems integrate data from CCM systems with risk assessment activity to prepare optimal inspection and maintenance regime for each facility crane with a CCM system 7.0������ Period of Performance The Period of Performance is estimated to be 60 months. 8.0������ Place of Performance Various U.S. Cites 9.0������ Capability Package Submittal Requirements Interested sources should submit a capability package in Microsoft Word (Office compatible format) or PDF format using Times New Roman 12-point font and 1� margins.� Packages are limited to a total of 10 pages and are due no later than 14 July 2020, 3:00pm EST.� Please submit via e-mail to Megan Whipple at Megan.Whipple@ssp.navy.mil.
