Description

Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Gordon, GA intends to award a sole-source contract with Grayshift LLC, 1475 Lake Forest Ln, McDonough GA 30253. The requirement is for Grayshift GrayKey software license renewal with one option year for the Defense Forensic Science Center, Gillem Enclave GA. Period of Performance is 10 July 2020 through 9 July 2022. The NAICS code is 511210. The authority for this noncompetitive award is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR part 13 and Commercial procedures in FAR part 12. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written responses are received by 9:00 am EDT on 2 July 2020, an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
