Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Sytech Corporation located at 6121 Lincolnia Road Suite 200, Alexandria, VA 22312 for an acquisition of Radio Inter-Operability System. Sytech is the manufacture of the Radio Inter-Operability System that provides inter-operability between disparate communications systems and contains proprietary software and protocol technology required for this application. Due to the proprietary nature of the software licenses is the only Vendor capable to meet DEA�s requirement. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government's requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The Government anticipates the award of a firm?fixed price purchase order. This requirement is for small business� only. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with FAR 6.302?1(c) the justification is attached with this notice. The acquisition will be conducted through the FAR Part 13 ""Simplified Acquisition Procedures."" The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 517919. The business size standard is $35000000.00. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Closing date for submitting a capability statement is July 2, 2020 at 11AM Eastern Time. All submissions should be submitted electronically to Sonya.L.Maxwell@usdoj.gov.
