- Description
- Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Contracting Office intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for Sanitization machines for fire-fighting equipment as required by the Surface Warfare Officers Schools (SWOS) Command. The intended source for this procurement is the Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) who will deliver these products and produced by the following company: 6157866 Canada Inc 510 rue Hodge Saint-Laurent, QC, H4N 2A4, Canada CAGE: L02W6 Associated NAICS: 333318 The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.5 �Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items� and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 225.870 �Contracting with Canadian contractors.�. Through market research, 6157866 Canada Inc was the only party found that could meet all of the Government�s requirements: - Have external dimensions estimated at 74� length, 36� width, and 90� height - Have internal dimensions estimated at 73� length, 35� width, and 83� height. - Be constructed with Stainless Steel - Must destroy 92% to 95% of pathogens - Have a cabinet ramp entry system while having, as well as being classified as, a scarecrow hanging design dryer system - Utilizes a dry air treatment - Will sanitize the following equipment:� FPG, flash hoods, helmets, and gloves Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all capabilities statements or proposals received within the closing date set in this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
