- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services in support of the Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics, White City, Oregon: To provide contracted services to prepare equipment specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Lock Out Tag Out Program to fulfill VA requirements relative to OSHA 1910.147 and 1910.333 and VA SORCC policy MCP 138-203, Energy Isolation Program (LOTO). Contractor shall provide White City VA Medical Center (VA SORCC) services to create and document equipment specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)s on all equipment that has multiple energy sources or the ability to store energy located in approximately 50 buildings with approximately 200 ( or 10% pieces of equipment, and identify and tag all related shut off valves. During the process of generating SOPs, contractor will apply brass tags to valves where needed for identification. Contractor to provide training on SOP s as well. Potential candidates having the capabilities necessary to provide the above stated equipment with installation are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to Laura Davis at laura.davis5@va.gov no later than 3 July 2020, 5PM PDT. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, and business size; point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; capability statement and if the services are available on a current GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract. NAICS Code 561210 is applicable to determine business size standard. Any questions or concerns may also be directed to Laura Davis via e-mail.
