- Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this sources sought notice in order to identify entities that could provide graphic design services (print and electronic) for VHA s National Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention (NCP). Description of Work: Contractor will create visual aids, provide design, layout, and visual elements of handouts, banners, booklets, clinician tools, etc. Contractor will also review and edit internally-developed NCP products for optimal layout, design, and consistency. Technical Qualifications: Contractor must have experience within public health and/or health care organizations, specifically having experience in medical and/or public health communications including print, video, and web/internet imagery. Contractor must have experience in producing communications materials based on public health and population health principles for healthcare professional and consumer audience s patients and their caregivers. Contractor must have experience providing high-quality graphic design work in support of health care communications. Contractor must have expertise in managing .png, .jpeg, .pdf, Microsoft Office, Adobe software products. Interested & Capable Responses: NCO 5 is seeking responses from entities that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, capabilities and qualifications necessary to provide the graphic design services for NCP. Please respond with your: 1. Business name, business type, socio-economic status (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), and person of contact (including telephone number & email address). 2. Capability statement and summary of previous experience providing these types of graphic design services for the Veterans Health Administration or other similar healthcare facilities. 3. GSA contract number, if your company has one. Important note: your GSA contract must include line item for graphic artist or similar occupational class. 4. Estimated hourly labor rate for a graphic artist (inclusive of all direct, indirect costs and profit). Responses must be submitted by 11:00 AM (EDT) July 1, 2020. Responses to the information requested above must be submitted via email to james.whisner@va.gov. This request for information/sources sought notice is for planning purposes ONLY. The results of this market research will assist in the development of (1) the requirement, and (2) the acquisition strategy (e.g., small business set-aside, full and open competition, etc.). VA assumes no responsibility for any costs incurred associated with the preparation of responses submitted as a result of this notice.
