Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5) to determine the capabilities of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources pursuant to FAR Part 10.� This notice is issued by the U.S. Coast Guard Director of Logistics (DOL-932), Alameda, CA, to identify qualified sources capable of providing GROUNDS MAINTENANCE (LANDSCAPING) SERVICES at Sector San Diego, 2710 North Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92101.� This will be a Firm Fixed Contract with Base plus four (4) option years, if exercised by the Government, beginning 01 October 2020. �A solicitation will be issued shortly and will be synopsized on SAMbeta FBO Electronic Posting System at www.SAMbeta.gov.� It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor this avenue for release of any solicitation or synopsis. This notice is for MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY and does not constitute a Request for Quote or Proposal; and it is not considered to be a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited; no basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this Sources Sought or Government use of any information provided.� At this time no solicitation exists; therefore, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION.� The Government reserves the right to consider any arrangement as deemed appropriate for this procurement. The applicable NAICS Code is 561730 (Landscaping Services).� The related small business size standard is $8.0 million. COMPETITION AND SET-ASIDE DECISIONS WILL BE MADE BASED ON THE RESULTS OF THIS MARKET RESEARCH AND THE FEEDBACK FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT.��� Any interested Large or Small Business firms capable of providing these services is requested to respond via e-mail to April E. Smith at april.e.smith@uscg.mil,�no later than 3:00 p.m. PDT/PST on 01 JULY 2020 with the following documentation: Name of Company, Address, Point of Contact, Valid Telephone Number, facsimile (fax) number and email address.� Business Size, (8 (a), small business, veteran owned small business; service-disabled business, HUBZone, Small Disadvantaged Business; Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business and Women Owned).� In addition, past performance information and capability statement shall be submitted.� Past Performance shall include recent and relevant contracts for the same or similar items and other references (including contract numbers, point of contact with VALID telephone numbers, email address and other relevant information).� If available provide Franchise Agreement. Offerors shall furnish this information NO MORE THAN THREE (3) contracts, on-going or completed within the last THREE (3) years, for like or similar services, held with the U.S. Coast Guard, other Government Agencies or Private Industry.� Interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) as prescribed in FAR Clause 52.232-33.� SAM can be obtained by accessing the internet at www.sam.gov or by calling 1-866-606-8220.
