Description: This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract.ï¿½ Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response.ï¿½ Responses to this sources sought must be in writing.ï¿½ The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service- Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses and Veteran Owned Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below.ï¿½ Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition.ï¿½ Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) company name (b) address (c) point of contact (d) phone, fax, and email (e) DUNS number (f) Cage Code (g) Tax ID Number (h) Type of Large or small business, e.g. Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran-ï¿½ï¿½ï¿½ï¿½ owned small business (i) must provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor for the work described below. The Phoenix VA Health Care System, Carl T. Hayden Medical Center has a requirement for an authorized contractor to furnish all necessary and appropriate labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and supplies to perform interior and exterior window cleaning services two (2) times a year for the Phoenix VA Healthcare System (PVAHCS), and the participating facilities within the catchment areas, as follows: Building 1 (Main Medical Center):ï¿½ Six (6) story building. Building 2A Engineering / Laundry Building; two (2) story building Building 8 ACC Building; two (2) story building Catwalk Between on 2nd story internal of building 8 ACC. Building 16 Building: two (2) story building. Building 21 Single Story Buildingï¿½ Building 23A Building: Two (2) Story Building. Building 24 Single Story Buildingï¿½ Building 27 Single Story Building Building 28 Single Story Buildingï¿½ï¿½ Building 29 Dental: Single Story Building Building 31 Two (2) Story Building Building 34 Two (2) Story Building Important information:ï¿½ The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this source sought synopsis request.ï¿½ This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach.ï¿½ The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued.ï¿½ The VA is mandated by Public Law 109-461 to consider a total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set aside. However, if response by Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms proves inadequate, an alternate set-aside or full and open competition may be determined.ï¿½ No sub-contracting opportunity is anticipated.ï¿½ The North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is NAICS Codeï¿½561720 ï¿½ This industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in cleaning building interiors, interiors of transportation equipment (e.g., aircraft, rail cars, ships), and/or windows. ($19.5M).ï¿½ Notice to potential offerors: ï¿½All offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov and complete Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).ï¿½ Additionally, all Service- Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses or Veteran Owned Small Businesses who respond to a solicitation on this project must be registered with the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise VetBiz Registry located at http://vip.vetbiz.gov.ï¿½ All interested Offerors should submit information by e-mail to dennis.cantrell@va.gov.ï¿½ All information submissions shall be received no later than 4:30 pm Pacific Time on July 06, 2020.ï¿½ After review of the responses to this announcement, the Government intends to proceed with the acquisition and a subsequent solicitation may be published.
