HZC Historically Underutilized Business (HUBZone) Set-Aside (FAR 19.13)
 
Description
THIS IS A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE.� This procurement is 100% set aside for Historically Underutilized Businesses. The Naval Air System Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to competitively award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)� Five Year Multiple Award Contract (MAC) for the production, and/or refurbishment and/or �retrofitting of Metal Weapons Containers.� ��NAVAIR intends to award the first delivery order immediately after award of the MAC, therefore any company interested in competing for the first award will need to provide a proposal for the first order as well as the MAC.� Not submitting a proposal for the first order will not prevent an offeror from receiving a MAC award.� A pre-solicitation notice for this effort was also posted under the Solicitation Number: PID #: N00019-22-RFPREQ-PMA-201-0007, Title: Metal Weapons Containers including Miniature Air Launch Decoy-Navy (MALD-N) Containers and Twin Lug Laser Guided Training Rounds (TLLGTR) Containers. ����������� Interested HUB zone firms may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement on or before 25 June 2020.�� Request for Proposal will be issued on or before 25 June 2020. NAVAIR intends to issue the Final Request for Proposal (RFP) to HUB Zone firms who have responded to the previous notices.� The FINAL RFP will be sent directly through DoD SAFE via https://safe.apps.mil/. ��Proposals will be due 27 July 2020 and must be submitted via DoD SAFE via https://safe.apps.mil/.� �A determination by the Government not to proceed with a HUB competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� The Government will not pay for any responses received.� There are no commitments by the Government to make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above.� Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract.� No telephone responses will be accepted.
