- Description
- Q1: Please clarify ability to Email and Archive press releases and media advisories. What would constitute a press release? Is the Public Relations Officer (PAO) open to distributing in a newer kind of email format? A1: We want to be able to distribute custom formatted or templated emails from the web-based platform of the company that wins the contract. Press releases are just an example of content that will need to be distributed. We are open to new email formats Q2: There are a number of new analytics now being used that should be more useful to the mission of the VA than some of the ones mentioned above (many of which are no longer being offered by leading companies in this space). For example, Advertising Value Equivalency is not a priority, and World Heat Map does not apply to US monitoring. In other words, can offerors address these issues in their response -- detailing why some of the requirements mentioned are not available, but with a discussion of more useful analytics without being disqualified for being non-responsive ? A2: Yes, offerors can address missing/outdated widgets in their responses without being automatically disqualified. This is a dynamic space with technologies constantly being updated and improved. Q3: Is social media monitoring in reference to overall social media mentions of the VA, or is this specific to journalists on social? A3: We DO need to be able to monitor/search social media mentions from the general public. i.e.: searching hashtags or shared stories that meet a given search criteria. #chooseVA . Q4: Rather than an outdated mobile app, can the platform be responsive on mobile to allow for a more diverse use-case and more functionality? This allows for live updates made to the web application to be available on mobile immediately, instead of having to wait for technology teams to update the mobile app version for new releases? A4: Yes. We are okay with a website that is responsive on mobile. Q5: Is this RFQ only requesting a dollar figure, or is the RFQ requiring a statement of capabilities to match the descriptions as well? A5: We are requesting a dollar figure and a statement of capabilities Q6: In the case of the statement of capabilities being required, is there any extension for additional time to complete a response? A6: Yes Deadline for submission of quotes, has been extended via this Amendment Q7: When would the submissions be fully evaluated and answered? A7: Evaluations will be conducted as quickly as possible and depending on the number of proposals we need to review. Within 1 week.
