- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, is issuing a notice of intent to extend the period of performance for six months for the�Multiple Award Military Munitions Services (MAMMS II).� MAMMS II is a set of firm fixed price IDIQ contracts that provide �environmental service through a MATOC with a scope of services that include but is not limited to services that encompasses the full range of military munitions support services.� The services provided under this contract are specialized military munitions investigation and response activities aimed at reducing risks to human health and the environment. The hazards addressed may be life threatening, and require intimate understanding of Department of Defense (DOD) and USACE explosive safety standards, as well as a variety of Federal environmental statutes and regulations. The listed contracts were awarded on 14 July 2015 with a five year base period of performance using FAR Part 15 procedures. �The ordering period will end 13 July 2020.� Contracts to be extended are W912DR-15-D-0014 - EA Engineering, Science and Technology, W912DR-15-D-0015 � Earth Resources Technology, Inc., W912DR-15-D-0016 � Hydrogeologic, Inc., W912DR-15-D-0017 � AECOM Technical Services, Inc., W912DR-15-D-0018 � Arcadis, U.S., Inc., W912DR-15-D-0019 � CH2M Hill Constructors, Inc., W912DR-15-D-0020 � Parsons Government Services, Inc., W912DR-15-D-0021 � Tetra Tech EC, Inc. and W912DR-15-D-0022 � Weston Solution. FAR Clause 52.217-8 is the authority used�allowing the Contracting Officer to extend the base contract period of performance by six (6) months utilizing the most recent rates. There will be no change to the MATOC�s maximum capacity of $240,000,000, only an extension of the ordering period. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.� Determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. �Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. �No solicitation package will be issued. �This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations.� However, responses may be submitted to Linda.Evans@usace.army.mil no later than 6 July 2020.�
