Description

The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, transportation, materials, and major parts necessary to maintain the equipment listed.� Equipment includes: DSQ Single Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer, Unity Essential Support Plan-CHROM-GC Trace GC Ultra Mainframe, Unity Essential Support Plan-CHROM-GC DSQ Single Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer, Unity Essential Support Plan-CHROM-GC CTC Combipal Autosampler, Unity Essential Support Plan-CHROM-GC System, LTQ XL STD, Unity Limited Support Plan-MSPEC-LCMS UltiMate 3000 LPG-3400RS, Low Pressure, Unity Limited Plan-CHROM-LC DNX UltiMate 3000 DAD-3000 Diode Array Detector,� Unity Limited Plan-CHROM-LC DNX UtliMate 3000 WPS-3000TRS Thermostatted, Unity Limited Plan-CHROM-LC DNX UtliMate 3000 TTC-3000RS Rapid Separation, Unity Limited Plan-CHROM-LC DNX iCAP 7400 ICP-OES Duo with direct System, Unity Essential Plan - Elemental OE/ICP Dual Pump, Analytical Isocratic and Gradient, Unity Essential Support Plan, Chrom, IC Photodiode Array Detector, Unity Essential support Plan CHROM, IC AS-AP Autosampler, Unity Essential Support Plan CHROM, IC Detector Compartment, Dual Temperature Z, Unity Essential Support Plan, CHROM, IC Preventative Maintenance contract dates: 30 Sep 2020 - 29 Sep 2025 with Thermo Electron North America LLC. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, the Department of Defense (DOD), 325 Contracting Squadron/PKB 541 Mississippi Rd., Bldg. # 36271, Tyndall AFB, Florida, 32403 intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Thermo Electron North America LLC to perform Preventative Maintenance for the instruments as listed above. Thermo Fisher Scientific is the sole source equipment manufacturer and service provider for all Thermo Fisher Scientific instrument, parts, training, technical support, field service support, and software.�No known potential alternate sources exist which could satisfy this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for quote/proposal.� Any interested party that believes it can meet the requirement described herein may identify themselves and must provide evidence of their capability to fulfill the requirement being requested by 1:00 PM CST on July 6, 2020.� Responses must be submitted in writing to kathryn.kitto@us.af.mil and brittany.kempton@us.af.mil no later than the time and date noted above. Telephone responses and requests will not be received.� A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
