- ***** This is a REQUEST FOR INTEREST ONLY! This request does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this request is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes only. ***** Request for Information (RFI) Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, LLC (SRNS), which manages and operates portions of the Savannah River Site (SRS) under a Department of Energy (DOE) prime contract, solicits expressions of interest from companies capable of providing Supplier Surveillance Services.��� This RFI is issued to assist with finding potential suppliers interested in this solicitation. The SRS is located approximately 15 miles south of Aiken, South Carolina and is 310 contiguous square miles. Scope Summary: Subcontractor shall provide supplier surveillance services which includes items such as inspection, witnessing, and programmatic oversight services.� The Subcontractor is to supply personnel to act as SRNS representative in supplier facilities.� �The personnel provided by the Subcontractor are to have appropriate qualification and certifications to perform oversight of supplier activities.� Source inspection assignments shall be made based upon procurement documents issued by SRNS for items and services.� The SOW may require the use of resident inspectors that will require personnel to reside in the location of a supplier�s shop for extended periods of time.� The Subcontractor shall comply with the following Codes and Standards.� Specific Editions and Revisions, if required, will be specified in the procurement documents. �������� ASNT, recommended practice SNT-TC-1A �������� ANSI/ASME NQA-1, Quality Assurance Program Requirements for Nuclear Facilities being qualified to NQA-1 2008 and Addenda 2009. �������� AWS D1.6, Structural Welding Code- Stainless Steel �������� AWS D1.1, Structural Welding Code- Steel �������� ASME B31.3, Process Piping including owners inspector activities �������� ASME Section VIII, Rules for Construction of Pressure Vessels Work activity primarily consists of performing work as defined by the surveillance plan provided by SRNS and the issuance of the results documented on the Surveillance Report. Supplier Surveillance activities may consist of but are not limited to: �������� Oversight of supplier inspection activities �������� Review of radiographic film and other nondestructive test results �������� Verification of specific Supplier Quality Assurance Program implementation activities �������� Preparation of surveillance plans and/or reports �������� Communication with SRNS Engineering, Procurement and Quality Assurance personnel A supplier�s response to this RFI does not guarantee they will be selected to participate in the Request for Proposal (RFP). Suppliers responding to this RFI shall include evidence of the following: Capabilities statement Supplemental materials that demonstrate capabilities referenced in the capabilities statement E-mail response addressing Items 1 and 2 above shall be submitted by 5:00 p.m. est. on 7/6/20 �to Barbara McCarty at barbara.mccarty@srs.gov,
