- Description
- This acquisition requirement is to support the U.S. Army Combined Arms Center (CAC), Army Training Support Center, Education Support Division Enterprise Classroom Programs. The TRADOC Enterprise Classroom Program Technology modernization effort provides digital instructional technology into the TRADOC and non-TRADOC Schools and Centers and other approved facilities to provide the digital instructional platform for delivery of Army training to Active Army, Army Reserve components, other services and foreign exchange soldiers and civilians serving as resident and non-resident students. It provides for interconnectivity of the institutional training domain with the operational (home station, Combat Training Centers and deployed) and self-development training domains and the Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) training environments. The Enterprise Classroom Programs Technology (ECP) requires contractors to provide services-based solutions; analyze, design, engineer, procure, integrate, pre-stage, and deliver a full range of IT equipment resulting in a 100% Classroom Turnkey. A classroom turnkey operation is defined as a classroom that is complete, installed and ready for immediate use upon installation. It is a classroom that is fully set up and completely operational right out of the box, including any necessary technical or user training and any associated or ancillary items. The user simply makes a single entry and the classroom and all associated instructional technology capabilities become operational. ECP establishes a modernized digital classroom environment. These digital classrooms principally support approved instructional methodologies and instruction associated with resident training and education courses. The also ensure standards of interoperability, compatibility, scalability and sustainability that contribute to operational and sustainment efficiencies and maximize soldier training effectiveness. Modernization may include any combination of technology, software, facilities, infrastructure and communications linked to a local or DoD network or the global Information Grid. The enterprise Classroom Programs Technology provides classroom analysis, design, engineering, technology solutions, integration, and implementation that are responsive to the Army Learning Model 2016 and the Army and TRADOC Campaign Plan objectives to address institutional operational adaption.
