SBA Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)

Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Directorate of Public Works (DPW) requires commercial sources for the procurement of Concrete Supplies in order to accomplish their mission in supporting the ERDC Laboratories. ERDC intends to establish Master Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) in order to facilitate the procurement of these supplies. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small businesses under North American Industry Classification System (NACIS) 327120 Clay Building Material and Refractories Manufacturing. A BPA is a simplified method of filling anticipated repetitive needs for supplies by establishing charge accounts with qualified sources of supply. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.303, Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs), the Contractor agrees to the identified terms and conditions for a BPA to provide the required Concrete Supplies exclusively with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC). The ERDC DPW requires sources -- locally accessible where possible -- for concrete and aggregates supplies in order to accomplish its mission supporting the ERDC Laboratories in research and development and maintaining ERDC buildings and infrastructure in Vicksburg, MS, Hanover, NH, and Champaign, IL as well as at off-site testing locations throughout the United States of America. If and when requested, the vendor shall provide Concrete Supplies which may include, but are not limited to: Ready mix concrete as well as related supplies and additives including but not limited to typical concrete mixtures for various compressive strengths commonly used in civil construction and maintenance such as building slabs, footings and grade beams, sidewalks, roads and drives, drainage structures, curbs, etc. The concrete will be delivered via mixer trucks to ERDC-designated work sites as required. Various gradations and types of sand and gravel. Various gradations of crushed limestone. Various sizes of rock and stone as used in erosion control projects. Delivery for ordered Concrete Supplies shall be FOB Destination. Delivery sites include but are not limited to: ERDC Vicksburg, 3909 Hall Ferry Road, Vicksburg, MS 39180; ERDC Hanover, 72 Lyme Road, Hanover, NH 03755; ERDC Champaign, 2902 Newmark Dr, Champaign, IL 61822; Common commercial Concrete Supplies and materials shall be readily available within 24 hours from the time the order is placed.
