This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written notice, will not be issued. Solicitation Number 1005627 - is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This �solicitation �document �incorporates �provisions and �clauses which are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-06 dated June 5, 2020.� �This solicitation shall be unrestricted basis �- �referencing � NAICS - North American Industrial Classification Code 334516. .�� SHIP TO ADDRESS � Beltsville, Maryland 20705 � Minimum requirements are as follows �- The Animal Genomics Improvement Laboratory requires a liquid handler to make sequencing libraries and run polymerase chain reaction in plates with other techniques to be added later. This robot will eliminate contamination, operator error, and provide a standard timeline for how long these tasks take to complete regardless of operator. The system must also be enclosed, so it is not easily contaminated. It will be programmable in languages which operators can easily learn to program such as Python, or at least have a graphic user interface with which they can learn to operate existing programs with a few clicks. This robot should be able to provide that up to 96 samples at a time.�The robot must have liquid handler component, thermocycler component, temperature component, as well as other preparation consumables. �Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available.
