SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE � MAINTENANCE OF 4 BAY TEST CELL FACILITY, KADENA AIR BASE, JAPAN Notice Date 18 June 2020�� Contracting Office Department of the Air Force, 18th Contracting Squadron/PKB Kadena Air base, Okinawa, Japan � Response Due:� 1 July 2020 Point of Contact:� MICHAEL J. Although a Small Business Set-Aside is not being contemplated, capable Small Business Concerns are encouraged to provide responses � Description: This notice is issued by the 18th Contracting Squadron, Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan as a Sources Sought notice (SS) to solicit responses from interested parties. This notice is for information and planning and market research purposes only.� This is NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This Sources Sought is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for any information submitted in response. Respondents will not be notified of the results of any government assessments. No awards will be issued as a result of this notice.� The 18th Contracting Squadron does not intend to award a contract on the basis of responses nor otherwise pay for the preparation of any information submitted. As a result of this Sources Sought, the 18th Contracting Squadron may issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quote (RFQ). THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME; however, should such a requirement materialize, no basis for claims against 18th Contracting Squadron shall arise as a result of a response to this Sources Sought or the 18th Contracting Squadron�s use of such information as either part of our evaluation process or in developing specifications for any subsequent requirement. The purpose of this notice is to identify qualified businesses that are interested in and capable of performing the work described herein. The 18th Contracting Squadron is seeking qualified businesses to complete the following: -� The contractor shall provide all management, labor, equipment, materials and tools necessary to maintain clean, safe, fully operational Maintenance of 4 Bay Test Cell Facility, Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan in accordance with Air Force and manufacturer�s manuals, meeting all commercial and industry standards. The contractor shall maintain the facility at a fully operational level. Operation and maintenance primarily includes, but is not limited to: preventive maintenance, the installation, service, and repair of equipment, and the maintenance and repair of existing cells (testing areas). -� Maintenance includes routine, urgent, and emergent call responses (requiring 24 hour coverage) for the maintenance of the facility which includes (but is not limited to): the entire structure, all equipment (excluding furnishings), all tanks, all pits, all outbuildings, all piping, oil/water separator, and all other systems and components within the structure. -� The contractor is responsible for providing all fabrication and in-house engineering support necessary in performance of this contract.� All maintenance performed shall be documented in the government database and maintenance log. -� All materials and finishes shall be durable and aesthetically acceptable products that closely match the color, quality, and types of existing materials and finishes unless otherwise authorized. -�� Contractor Cleanup.� The contractor shall keep the work areas and storage areas free������ from accumulations of waste material and rubbish.� Upon completion of the job, the contractor shall leave the work site and premises in a clean, neat, and workman like condition.� Interested and capable offerors shall provide responses to this notice no later than 1 July 2020 at 2:00 PM (JST) to the below individual(s): (Mr.) MICHAEL J.
