THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This synopsis/solicitation 1305M2-20-02382 constitutes a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-06. � � � � � � � � �� � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Office of Protected Resources has a requirement for a SonoSite EDGE II Veterinary Ultrasound that has the�ability to fully assess the health of the sampled dolphins around the United States. This instrument must be operational in tough field conditions including high temperatures, high humidity and rough handling.� The delivery date is NLT September 1, 2020. The delivery address is NOAA/NMFS, Attn: Deborah Fauquier, 1315 East-West Highway, Room 13659, Silver Spring, MD 20910. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract based on Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable. Quote shall include all costs associated with each CLIN unless otherwise indicated on the vendor�s quote.� This RFQ is 100% set aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 334510, Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing Manufacturing, with a Size Standard of 1250. Additionally, each offeror must provide the following information with the quote: The Request for Quote (RFQ) number; The Name, Address, Telephone Number, and DUNS Number of the Offeror; Include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the RFQ. Quotes that reject the terms and conditions of the RFQ may be excluded from consideration; Acknowledgment of Solicitation Amendments (SF-30), if any, and; Provide a technical description of the product being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation. This may include product literature, or other documents, if necessary. All questions must be submitted in writing to tamico.little@noaa.gov by 11:00 A.M. Eastern on June 26, 2020. Telephone inquiries will not be honored. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes must be submitted by 11:00 A.M. Eastern on June 30, 2020; Quotes must be submitted via e-mail to tamico.little@noaa.gov. The anticipated award date is on or about July 6, 2020. Contractors are encouraged to register with the ConOps Vendor Notification Service as well as the Interested Vendors List for this acquisition (see applicable tab within ConOps where this synopsis/solicitation is posted). Quoters must be registered in the SAM database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.sam.gov/. The Government does not accept responsibility for non-receipt of quotes. It is the Contractor�s responsibility to request and receive a confirmation of the quote receipt.
