Description

The Law Enforcement Safety and Compliance Directorate (LESC)�on behalf of Operations Support (OS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), intends to solicit proposals in response to request for proposal (RFP) 70B06C20R00000135 for Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) Handheld Spray Devices. The Government intends to make a single indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract award resulting from this solicitation. However, the Government reserves the right to make additional awards if it would be in the Government�s best interest. The anticipated contract will be issued with a five (5) year ordering period. All items are defined in the statement of work (SOW), which will be included with the RFP. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued�as a Small Business Set Aside�by posting to this notice. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332994, (Small Arms, Ordnance, and Ordnance Accessories Manufacturing), is determined to be appropriate for this project. The solicitation documents will be issued on or about June 29th, 2020. Potential proposers MUST register at https://beta.sam.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Potential proposers are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract neither does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. All interested parties must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) pursuant to applicable regulations and guidelines prior to award.
