- SOLICITATION NO. N40085-20-R-0075 DESIGN-BID-BUILD (DBB) BUILDING 13 BASE COMMUNICATIONS RENOVATION, PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD, KITTERY, MAINE THIS ACQUISITION IS BEING SOLICITED AS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The project will consist of a total interior and partial exterior renovation of the 3-story, plus basement, historic masonry building of approximately 14,650 square feet. The scope of work will include abating hazardous materials; removing and replacing the south side stair tower with a new stair and elevator tower; upgrading the building�s structural support system; restoring original window openings; providing offices, conference and break areas, and modern toilet rooms; providing accessibility via ramp and elevator; and completely overhauling the building�s mechanical, electrical, data, and fire protection systems. Site improvements include all paving, walks, utility pads, ramps and green space. Utilities include electrical, fire, water, sanitary services, steam, connections, and relocations.
