Description

The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Contracting Division, intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract with Hurco Machine and their distributor/dealer. �The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333517 (Machine Tool Manufacturing).� This acquisition will be 100% small business set aside.� The contract requirement is a follows. Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Lathe one (1) each, new slant bed-type turning center with Hurco WINMAX control.� �Designed conversationally controlled turning center with ancillary support to include options, initial installation & training.� The machine shall be able to be programed by use of conversational or NC/G code programming for the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
