Description

The Naval Air Warfare Command � Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Rapid Programs Test Branch, intends to issue a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract to SRC, Inc., 6225 Running Ridge Road, North Syracuse, NY 13212, for the procurement of an a prototype software and hardware system for the E-2D Aerial Refueling Optical Cueing System.� In more detail, the computer vision pilot aid will support air-to-air refueling utilizing the E-2D aircraft. This hardware system and associated software capabilities will provide the Rapid Programs Test Branch the ability to reduce risks and assist pilots through cueing with air-to-air refueling of the F/A- 18 with the E-2D aircraft. REQUIREMENTS: The requirement(s) will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority to purchase experimental items under Title 10 U.S.C 2373.� Under this effort, the Contractor shall provide the following items:� E-2D Aerial Refueling Optical Cueing Hardware System Pilot Estimation and Cueing Software� This notice is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive proposals or capability statements.� Michael Addario (315-452-8150) is the point of contact at SRC, LLC for any subcontracting opportunities.�� � A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government and is based on an approval to utilize the authority under Title 10 U.S.C 2373.�� �
