- Description
- 1. The Government of C�te d�Ivoire and the United States of America Government acting through the Millennium Challenge Corporation (�MCC�) have signed on November 7th, 2017, in Washington, DC, the Grant Agreement for C�te d�Ivoire �s Compact Program in the amount of US$ 524.74 million for the financing of two projects: The Abidjan Transport Project (ATP) and the Skills for Employability and Productivity Project (Skills Project). This agreement, for the benefit of the Ivorian populations came into effect on August 05, 2019. MCA-C�te d�Ivoire intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of MCC Funding to eligible payments under a contract associated with this Invitation for Bids. Any payments made by the Employer under the proposed contract will be subject, in all respects, to the terms and conditions of the Compact and related documents, including restrictions on the use and distribution of MCC Funding. No party other than the Government and the Employer shall derive any rights from the Compact or have any claim to the proceeds of MCC Funding. The Compact and its related documents can be found on the MCC website (www.mcc.gov (http://www.mcc.gov) and on the website of MCA-C�te d�Ivoire (http://www.mcacotedivoire.ci). 2. MCA-C�te d�Ivoire hereby invites all eligible Individual Consultants to provide the services of Senior Civil Engineer in Road construction. Individual consultants are invited to submit their Curriculum vitae and financial proposal. MCA-C�te d�Ivoire will award to the selected consultant a full-time contract with a six-months� base period followed by three optional periods of one year each in accordance with the terms of reference. The activation of the contract options will depend of the consultants� performance based on set objectives. 3. The Senior Consultant in Roads construction needs to have the following qualifications: Holding a Civil Engineering degree or a University specialized master degree in construction management (BAC+4/5); A training in Urban Engineering will be an asset At least 15 years professional experience in the field of roads construction or road infrastructures rehabilitation (Cumulatively studies/supervision/technical control/works); At least 10 years in the field of road infrastructures construction or rehabilitation in urban areas, main streets (Cumulatively studies/supervision/technical control/works); Having realized at least five (5) projects of roads construction or infrastructures rehabilitation in urban areas, main streets as a Project Director Having realized at least one (1) project of roads construction or infrastructures rehabilitation in urban areas, main streets as a Project Director in C�te d�Ivoire or in Sub-Saharan Africa; A good knowledge of the French and English languages, oral and written is required Holding a practical experience in engineering, economy and environmental integration as well as social aspects in infrastructures management; Having a good knowledge in the implementation of infrastructure projects including BIM (Building Information Modeling) platforms; Having experience in applied research and innovation; Having a specific experience in the management of projects financed by donors (World Bank, European Union, USAID, MCC, etc.). 4.
