Description

NASA has a need to upgrade the Environmental Control (ECS) at Launch Complex (LC) 39B.� The upgraded ECS is required to support the crewed Space Launch System (SLS) Artemis II mission.� The project will include the following work: The upgrade of the ECS at LC 39B. �The modified ECS will provide conditioned clean purge air to various compartments of the new SLS vehicle supporting Artemis missions.� The upgrade scope includes replacement of the existing cooling tower, relocation of existing ductwork, heaters, and instrumentation, addition of new heaters and high pressure ducts, replacement of filter housings and valves, revising existing gaseous nitrogen piping including replacement of heritage aluminum gaseous nitrogen piping with stainless steel, modification of existing controls systems hardware, installation of new humidifiers, and incidental related work. Solicitaiton Amendment 0001 is released to:� A) Update the 1442, Section B.1, Section L.9, and Section L.10, see attached Slip Pages; 5 pages. B) Include Section L Appendix 6 Badging Request Form (Includes TAA), see attached Appendix; 2 pages. End of solicitation changes. Solicitation Amendment 0002 is released to:� A) Update the email address in Section L.9 (e) to KSC-NE-Badging@mail.nasa.gov; see attached Slip Page; 1 page. End of solicitation changes.
