Description: NASA/John F. Kennedy Space Center plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for 80KSC020R0028, Small Task Order Construction Contract at John F. Kennedy Space Center, Florida. A copy of the DRAFT RFP is included herein.� This is only a DRAFT RFP and IS NOT a solicitation; �NASA is not requesting proposals at this time.� The intent of the DRAFT RFP is to invite comments from potential offerors on all aspects of the draft solicitation, including the requirements, schedules, proposal instructions, and evaluation approaches. Potential offerors should identify unnecessary or inefficient requirements. We also encourage comments on any perceived safety, occupational health, security (including information technology security), environmental, export control, and/or other risk issues associated with performance of the work. The statement of work and links to the specifications are included. The contracting officer will include a summary of the disposition of significant comments with the final RFP. Any comments to the DRAFT RFP or this Synopsis should be sent to the contacts below by June 26, 2020.� The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard of $39.5M. Note: It has been determined that competition will be limited to 8(a) firms located within the geographical area of the State of Florida and other 8(a) construction firms with a bona fide place of business within the State of Florida, and the assigned NAICS code. All other 8(a) BD Participants are deemed ineligible to submit offers. The CLIN Structure has been established in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 36.204, Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction: �Task orders issued under this contract will be within the following price ranges: �� (a)� Less than $25,000. �� (b)� Between $25,001 and $100,000. �� (c)� Between $100,001 and $250,000. �� (d)� Between $250,001 and $500,000. �� (e)� Between $500,001 and $1,000,000. �� (f)� Between $1,000,001 and $5,000,000. The anticipated release date of the FINAL RFP is mid July 2020 with an anticipated offer closing date of mid to late August 2020. �The firm date for receipt of bids or proposals will be stated in the FINAL RFP.� Prospective offerors are encouraged to register their intent to submit an offer on https://beta.sam.gov.� Search for the solicitation number and then follow the instructions in Beta.SAM.gov to add your name to the Interested Vendor�s List. �It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). �Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). All contractual and technical questions must be submitted by email to the POCs below. �Telephone questions will not be accepted.
