Description

The solicitation and any resultant contract will be a stewardship project as authorized in accordance with Section 8205 of Public Law 113-79, the Agricultural Act of 2014 as amended under Section 204 & 207 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act (Omnibus Bill 2018). This project is being advertised for full and open competition. This acquisition has been tailored to fit the Governments need for trading goods for services. The Peck Rd Hazard Tree Project is located on the Bass Lake Ranger District of the Sierra National Forest. The Project area is approximately 305 acres and includes felling, skidding and removal of roadside hazards along Forest Service road 8S09. The project includes removal of approximately 1,402 CCF of Sawtimber and 3,721 CCF of Biomass/Cull Logs along with road maintenance. Project Location - The Peck Rd Hazard Tree project is located in the Whiskey Fall recreation area. The legal description is T7S R23E., Section: 22, 27, 28, 33, 34 and T8S R23E., Section: 3 of the Mount Diablo Base Meridian. The solicitation package will be uploaded approximately June 25th, 2020. The date of award is expected to be within 60 days after the actual response date, which will be stated in the package and is subject to change with amendments to the solicitation. The contractors are encouraged to visit the site prior to the response date. A prebid meeting on site is scheduled for 06/29/2020, more information about the prebid meeting will be available in the solicitation. Please hold any technical questions until after review of the solicitation. The technical contact information will be listed in the solicitation. The purpose of this notice is to meet the FAR 5.201. It is the contractor�s responsibility to monitor the beta.sam.gov website for amendments.
