- This procurement�will be�for the folllowing: ITEM:� Fuel Distribution System NSN: 4930-01-614-3654 GOVERNMENT PART NUMBER: 9-1-1365 (CAGE 81337) QUANTITY: 20 each The Fuel Distribution System, NSN 4930-01-614-3654 are essential items that support the Force Provider reset and new production programs located at Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) and operationally deployed systems utilized by individual military units.� This requirement is for the procurement of the FDS manufactured by Parker-Velcon Co.� The Fuel Distribution System (FDS) provides diesel or JP-8 fuel support to the Army's Premier Base Camp and Expeditionary Base Camp modules. The FDS is a portable, mobile system that operates in all expeditionary environments.� The FDS is moved manually within the base camp. The FDS receives diesel or JP-8 fuel from a fuel source, filters fuel and pumps it to a destination (e.g.,diesel-operated generator, heater).� The FDS interfaces are compatible with typical cam-locking fuel hose connectors. �The FDS consists of a self-priming pump and motor, filter cartridge, flow meter, discharge hose, cargo container electrical grounding cables and valves that transfer the fuel in and out of the system.� All components are housed on a FDS cart. �The FDS cart has two tires for moving the FDS as needed. Force Provider module provides essential life support to 150 personnel. The Force Provider is a modular base camp system designed to provide; housing, food service, laundry, water, fuel storage, waste water collection, showers, latrines and utilities managed by Product Manager-Force Sustainment Systems (PM-FSS) located at the U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center in Natick, Massachusetts implemented as a result of Desert Storm.� The Force Provider modules are packaged in rigid TRICON containers as preconfigured loads and should�ensure interface within the other Force Provider systems to allow for part interchangeability. -This notice is Not an open solicitation i.e., Invitation for Bid (IFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP). -Technical data is Not available for this item. -Qualification testing and evaluation Is required to become an approved source. -Source approval does Not guarantee business. -Qualifying as an approved source Only provides the opportunity to compete on future solicitations.
