Description

The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial Firm-Fixed- Price FAR 13 purchase order on a non-competitive basis with WireCo WorldGroup. The requirement is for the purchase of the following: Catenary Wires: The government requires the Catenary Wires to have the following critical characteristics: 1-3/4� X 321� 6-1/4� Class A pre-stretched, striped and measured under load with CROSBY galvanized 2-2-1/8� open shelter socket (3.75� pin 4� jaw) each end Compatible and equivalent to existing design at NCTAMS Lant Det. Cutler Pre-Tested and Pre-Certified by NCTAMS LANT Det. Cutler Guaranteed catenary structural strands build out that meets Cutler requirements A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. A copy of the Request for Quote will be made available upon request.
