- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Center Operations Division at the William J. Hughes Technical Center established a Qualified Vendors List (QVL) of small businesses to perform construction projects in 2017 that included four categories of work.� In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1, the FAA is conducting a market survey.� The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses that are interested in becoming a qualified source for the trades and related services referenced below.� This market survey is being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether an adequate number of vendors exist to set-aside categories for these trades on the QVL among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms.� The proposed trade categories and related services to be added to the QVL are, as follows: Roofing � Anticipated QVL category 5 to be performed by a small business under NAICS code 238160. 5.1 Roofing Installation 5.2 Roof Applications 5.3 Roof Repair 5.4 Skylight Installation and Repair Air Duct Cleaning- Anticipated QVL category 6 to be performed by a small business under NAICS code 561790. 6.1 Air Duct Cleaning 6.2 Filter Replacement Airport Paving and Construction- Anticipated QVL category 7 to be performed by a small business under NAICS codes: 237310, 237990, 238910, or 238990. 7.1 Site work 7.2 Base Courses 7.3 Stabilized Base Courses 7.4 Flexible Pavements 7.5 Rigid Pavement 7.6 Surface Treatments 7.7 Miscellaneous See the attached Draft Statement of Work for further description of anticipated work. Interested firms must be located within 65 miles of the William J Hughes Technical Center and are required to submit a Capability Statement consisting of the following: Number of years in business; Type of services provided by your firm; State licenses or trade-specific certifications; Size and type of services provided by previous contracts; Work experience with the FAA, if applicable; Business Classification under each NAICS. FOR AIRPORT PAVING AND CONSTRUCTION VENDORS ONLY: In addition to the above, firms responding to category 7- Airport Paving and Construction are required to submit answers to the questions listed in attachment �QVL category 7_Airport Paving� and Construction- Questions�. Previous experience should be limited to the last five years. Total page limitation for the Capability Statement is three pages � font size 10, one-inch margins, single spaced. Be sure to include Business Name, Cage, and DUNS on submittal. This announcement is not a Screening Information Request (SIR) or Request for Proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for and is not liable for costs associated with the preparation and submittal of responses to this announcement. Any costs associated with the submission of a response to this request are solely at the interested vendor�s expense. Please note, if the referenced trade categories are added to the QVL, a SIR will be posted at that time. Responses to this market survey will not be used for adding vendors to the QVL. All interested vendors will need to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). Interested vendors are asked to electronically submit their Capability Statement via email to Jeffrey.Young@faa.gov no later than�3:30 PM (EDT) June 26, 2020.� Files must be submitted as PDF and/or Word documents, and the subject line of the email response must read �Response to QVL Market Survey.�
