Description
The U.S. Government desires to procure �vendors who are able to provide all labor and resources necessary to Remove and install exhaust system COMPATIABLE WITH THE 60K TUNNER AIRCRAFT CARGO LOADER/TRANSPORTER� at JBER, AK, on a small business set-aside basis. Be advised the U.S. Government will not be able to set aside this requirement in 2 or more small businesses do not respond with information to support the set-aside.� We encourage all small business, in all socioeconomic categories �(including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantage Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service� Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women Owned Small Business concerns), to identify their capabilities in meeting the requirement at a fair market price. Some of the duties include: Demolition and disposal of current exhaust system (if applicable) Furnish and install (5) spring hose reels. Furnish and install (5) hoses that reach the 60K Tunner exhaust pipe from the hose reel as well as fit the 60K Tunner exhaust pipe. Furnish and install all ductwork. Furnish and Install all associated electrical wiring Furnish and Install separate heated makeup air unit designed to meet space and temperature requirements. Units shall include VFDs. Design/build concrete pad for makeup air unit. Provide all roofing work (if applicable). Install fire and smoke protection device connecting to existing fire alarm panel. Provide all fire protection work and remote testing/annunciator panels, in the event of fire system will shut down. Install CO and NO2 sensors which automatically turns on the exhaust system in the event that the system was inadvertently left off. Refer to the attachments for full descriptions. A site visit is scheduled for 4 June, 2020 at 9:00 am.� All interested vendors must confirm your attendance and/or request base access�by responding to michelle.shoshone@us.af.mil no later than 12:00 pm on 3 June, 2020. *AMENDMENT 2* Quotes are due No Later Than Thursday, 18 June 2020 at 5:00 P.M. AKST An ammendment providing answers to recieved questions�will be posted once the contracting office has recieved a response from the customer. *AMENDMENT 1* Questions are due No Later Than Friday, 5 June 2020 at 5:00 P.M.
